Tester Calls on Bush to Appoint Common-Sense Supreme Court Justice without Political Agenda
U.S. Senate Candidate Jon Tester today called on President Bush to appoint a new U.S. Supreme Court justice who uses common sense and goes to the court without personal or political bias.
“President Bush should replace Justice O’Connor with a justice who shares the Montana and American values of fairness and independence, Tester said.
“The Supreme Court serves a very important role for our country, and it’s important that the president appoints a person who is impartial and who is not political.
“The president has a historic opportunity to do what’s right for Montana and our country, and I urge him to put forward an even-handed nominee who unites the country.
