The Great Falls Tribune reports this morning that BRAC is taking up the Air Force list, with deliberation this morning on the issue of removing fighters from the Montana Air National Guard.

Staff at Missoula county schools are threatening a strike. The union has come back with a plan for a two-year elevent-percent raise. Their threats gained backing from the MEA-MFT, with Eric Feaver coming to Missoula to support the school staff.

Meanwhile, the early chilly weather is helping firefighters. The Bozeman Chronicle profiles Roger “Liberty Tree” Koopman.

Finally, two Health and Human Services employees saved Pica, the Governor’s more elderly dog, while taking an afternoon walk.
