Help Us Wrap Montana in Blue!

When the Holidays are over, we??ll be just six months out until Primary Day. 
I want to thank you for all your support already. Together, we??ve helped move the debate forward on Iraq, on our nation??s energy policy, and on the Medicare prescription drug plan. And we??ve sent a strong message to Senator Burns that he needs to protect public access to public lands for all Montanans???and that we Montanans don??t want our public lands sold off.
In the next six months, I??ll continue to stand up for the values that we share. And I??ll continue to lay out my platform for working families in Montana.
But to win on Primary Day, and defeat Conrad Burns in November, we need to take our campaign to the next level by ramping up our grassroots field efforts. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for our field efforts, so we can ???wrap Montana in blue??? next year:

Our support across the state is strong. We have volunteers chomping at the bit to win the primary and send Conrad Burns packing in November. But we need your commitment today to empower our grassroots support in the New Year. Please, consider making a special gift to our campaign at this time.
We already know what our opponents plan to do in this race. They plan to raise as much money from high-dollar sources as they can, hoping that their bundles of money will conceal how out of touch they are with working Montanans.
But we are going to beat them the old-fashioned Montana way???by spreading the word, neighbor to neighbor, and letting people know that in 2006 we have the opportunity to send real Montana values to Washington.
