Tester Launches Statewide Tour

U.S. Senate Candidate Jon Tester, between harvests on his family farm in Big Sandy, continues his campaign this week by hitting the highways and hearing from Montanans up and down the state.

“This is a great chance to listen to working Montanans during one of the most important times of the year to families across the state—the summer harvest,” Tester said. “We already know Montanans are ready for change in Washington this November. This week, I look forward to talking to fellow farmers and workers across the state about the economy and how we must raise the standards for our leaders in Washington.”

Tester’s five-day Meet Montana’s Main Street tour begins Tuesday, July 25. He will visit Great Falls, Helena, Missoula, Corvallis, Kalispell, the Flathead Valley, Boulder, Butte, Bozeman and Billings. Click here to sign up to attend an event.

The tour will include public listening sessions in Great Falls, Missoula, Corvallis and Boulder. Tester will make many stops along the way to meet real Montanans who are ready for real change in Washington.

Tester, a third-generation farmer, will tour an orchard near Bigfork for a firsthand look at the Flathead cherry harvest. He will celebrate Butte’s heritage during Evel Knievel Days. And he will join volunteers to reach out to voters in Billings.

“We want to continue what we’ve been doing the last year in the State Senate,” Tester said. “We want to know what matters most to Montanans. We want to let them know they have a chance to restore honesty to Washington.”

Tester is currently President of the Montana Senate. He is challenging Republican Sen. Conrad Burns this November.
