Democrats across the country are pulling for you Jon! Not too much longer and we can get back to the business of what we should have been focusing for for the past six years. Go get ‘em!

I’m holding my breath…it’s looking good, but, why hasn’t this race been called for Tester?

Having grown up in Montana, I’m watching the Montana Senate race with great interest. Sure hope you win, John Tester!!! And it’s looking good at this point.
It’s amazing that control of the Senate may depend on your win!
Best of luck to you!

Just want to wish Mr. Tester the best of luck. If he wins, it looks like it will mean control of the Senate for the Dems. Virginia will be recounted, but I’m confident Mr. Webb will prevail. I hope you win.

Just sending a warm wave from Southern California. We’re awake and with you!

It really is funny that Yellowstone county has not reported a thing. Are we looking at Florida Fiasco again? Chads missing? Has anyone seen Chad?

Sending John Tester best wishes from the United Kingdom.
You are one of the two last pieces in the puzzle that will begin to put America back on track.
Civilised people around the world are all pulling for you I am sure.
Regards and best wishes.

Hello from Norway!
It seems like the entire US Senate election will come down to the support for Tester in Yellowstone and Gallatin counties. We are hoping that you will manage to win this! For a better America!

It’s 6 am and I still can’t sleep down here in Missouri! I have watched Tester on C-SPAN’s debates and he will be the best thing to happen to Washington since Abe Lincoln’s train rolled in. I am on pins and needles hoping that honesty and integrity will FINALLY return to Congress so that we can move forward to solve REAL problems (alternative energy to stop climate change, bringing integrity back to our food supply, health care for all, decent pay for an honest day’s work, etc.) We are halfway there with people like Sherrod Brown and Bernie Sanders, but Tester will put us over the top. Don’t let that slimy Burns steal your votes in that “recount” - take him to the mat on it! We’re behind you down here in the heartland - don’t give in!!
November 8th, 2006 at 6:28 am
Go John Tester!!!!!
November 8th, 2006 at 7:47 am
We’re pulling for you here in Georgia. We really need a change in this country.
November 8th, 2006 at 8:37 am
I’m eagerly awaiting news from Minnesota. Please update as soon as anything is reasonably certain.
November 8th, 2006 at 9:20 am
I am encoraged to wake up and find Jon leading. I am discouraged so many Montanans bought into Conrad Burns and his sleaze attacks. Seems it is about their pocketbooks rather than honesty and integrity. But we will hope for the best today and I am so happy Jon is in the lead. Like we say in Griz country about football…a W is a W. Whether by one vote or 1000. After Montanans get to see Jon at work the support will swell. Thanks to all of you who worked so hard for our new US Senator….
November 8th, 2006 at 9:25 am

Dear John and Family:
I am so proud to be from Montana!! Tears came to my eyes this morning when I heard the good news! I went to your Pearl Jam concert and I met you at the Missoula Club, which officially makes you the coolest senator ever. I have been singing your praises all day long to my LA co-workers, they think you are awesome too. Thanks for staying true! Please post it on your website if you ever visit California, I’d love to see you again!
November 8th, 2006 at 11:47 am
Jon & Sharla, Congratulations!!! Don’t let the sleaze buckets steal this from us. We’re willing to go to the mat for you. Sis, Virginia, has threatened to move to Canada if you don’t win. So keep up the fight, we love you both!!!!
November 8th, 2006 at 11:49 am
AP has called this, and if that holds up, congratulations to you. I think this is a great thing for Montana to have an “everyday man” serving as their Senator, a guy who understands the farming and other common interests in Montana. I’m from the East and we’ll never have a senator like Jon Tester, but it’s nice to see someone get elected to high political office who is not a career politician. I have every confidence that Jon will be a great, popular senator and will stay out of the corrupt D.C. circles that Conrad Burns got drawn into. Best of luck!
November 8th, 2006 at 11:50 am
That’s it- NBC just called it.
Congrats Senator-elect Tester!
November 8th, 2006 at 11:54 am
With Fergus Co. falling for all that stuff and nonsense of the Right, Jon, you are our hope that the rest of the world will experience a great Montana - a Montana with a sense of what is right and wrong!! Go Jon Go!
November 8th, 2006 at 11:54 am
ABC news and the AP have both called it for Tester!
(Up all night & running on adrenaline this gorgeous morning!)
November 8th, 2006 at 12:20 pm
I attended the Tester pre-primary Pearl Jam concert in Missoula way back in ‘05. John struck me as an average Joe who cared about good government. What a great pickup in the Senate! Don’t lose the gut or the flat-top Sen. Tester!
need a drink? me too.

Congratulations to Jon Tester from Germany!
Germans #1 TV station ARD which always tells the truth (don`t compare them with Fox TV) announced that Jon Tester won. I’m so happy.

Dear Senator Jon Tester:
Congradulations on the VICTORY! I have long hoped for a democrate dorminate congress, you made it into reality! It’s a victory of the people. And we are going to put you to work real soon!
Montata is a great state with very rich natural resources, but poor in economy. Why don’t you guys start to utilize your natural reources and build a better tomorrow for Montata? For example, why do you sit on a mountain of treasure like this, and do nothing about it?

Last night ABC had indicated Jon had Yellowstone County, then the next report was no results in for Yellowstone. Very strange.

Congratulations Senator-elect Jon Tester. Many of us in Maryland pulled all-nighters waiting for your win. Now protect our horses. They deserve our support, help and compassion not the slaughterhouses. We wish you success in the Senate and hope you will bring back civility, compassion and the understanding that Congress needs to listen to the American people.

I’m a Seattle born, University of Montana Alumni living in Dublin. I feel part Montanan and have never been so proud! I am in floods of tears with the news that we Americans have shown the world that we still have a bit of soul (and sanity)! Congratulations to you Mr. Tester! Thank you for being real. Best of luck in Washington-go make us all proud!
November 9th, 2006 at 11:35 am
Mr. Tester,
I am a citizen of Florida, but have been watching your campaign intently for months. Largely, because I believe in your common man, common sense approach to the problems that our nation faces. I no not believe that the Democrats won this week, but rather, the American people won a victory proving that this is a nation ruled by a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Godspeed in Washington, now go and do the people’s work.
November 9th, 2006 at 12:04 pm
Warm congratulations to Senator-elect Jon Tester! I first met you in the organic agriculture sector, and have never forgotten the intelligence and integrity you brought to that work. Your victory makes an already fine election result that much brighter. There’s a lot of work to be done, and I cannot think of a better man to pitch in.
Wishing you every success,
Stephanie Wells in Ottawa, Canada

Senator Tester, although I agree with all of your stated goals, but the ethic reforms (lobby and campaign) are, in my opinion, far and above any of the other reforms. Until we get moneys influence greatly reduced (eliminated) from our political system, none of the other goals can be enacted for the good of all Amertican citizens. As long as money is the powerbroker, only the fatcats will be given consideration by the legislative branch of ‘our’ government.
