Happy Thanksgiving

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2005

I’m headed out tomorrow to do Thanksgiving Dinner with my family. Jon was on the road today to his mother’s house. I’m sure many of you are doing similar travels. Be safe. Enjoy the holiday. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

And make sure you make enough food for their to be leftovers. It wasn’t Thanksgiving growing up if we weren’t eating turkey sandwiches, turkey a la king (OK, we used the less formal, less family appropriate name at times), and other variations on the staple food for weeks. Thankfully, we didn’t repeat the whole thing at Christmas, opting for pasties instead.
